Noa Gosley (b. 1999, Bordeaux, France)
I am a visual artist based in Israel. I immigrated from France at the age of ten and am currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
My practice centers on abstract painting, working primarily with oil painting and oil pastel on fabric. Alongside painting, I explore printmaking and embroidery, each medium offering a different entry point into the materiality of memory.
At the core of my work is the experience of displacement and the ongoing negotiation between past and present. Childhood memories from France intersect with everyday life in Israel, forming a visual language that is fragmented, fluid, and deeply personal. My practice is a way of mapping this in-between space, of giving shape to what is remembered, felt, and imagined.
